“Featured Game Of The Week”
Roosevelt “Rough Riders” vs South Gate “Rams” @ South Gate
Quick Read: Alth
ough both
teams are members of the Eastern League, they compete in different L.A. City Schools Divisions, Roosvelt in D-1, South Gate in D-2. Nonetheless, this could be a very pivotal match-up when the Section’s Playoff Committee along wth the Commissioner’s office gather together and make their Playoff “seeding” decisIons. So, this will be a critical game for both schools in that respect. Playoff predictions for their respective divisions, via the current rankings at this point in the season, reflect the following: Roosevelt #13 and South Gate #1. Recalling last year’s loss to the Rough Riders at Roosevelt, the “Rams” are looking forward to returning the favor in tonight’s game. Rico Cabreera, Sr./ELASS
