Note #1 From The Edito
r: Time has flown right by us as we take a time-out on our media trail of the schools , teams, and players we’ve been covering for the past five weeks of 2015. Nearly all schools have played at least one conference game. Only Salesian and Cathedral have not played a league opponent to date. Every game critically matters from this point on. The highly valued post-season playoffs, of course, are the biggest prize that each team wants to claim in order to keep their season going in pursuit of a championship or league title. Last note on this posting….we’re including a collection of team photo galleries for your viewing appreciation. Due to time constraints, this posting will feature smaller photo galleries of Wilson, Garfield, Bishop Amat, and ELAC. Our greater intent is to publish galleries of each school whenever possible.
Extra Background Note From The Editor: This posting features our “Round-Up” of Week #5’s Final Scores and Next Opponents, plus our spectacular photo gallery which is attracting many, many new viewers and followers. We ask you to keep returning to see our dedicated student-athletes in prime-time action. Again, our commitment is to bring you a comprehensive, weekly snapshot of what’s going with our nine local high schools, East L.A. College, plus players on D-1/D-2/D-3 college rosters and on designated NFL teams, and last, but certainly not least, our Pop Warner & Youth Programs. We will do so in our customary format by bringing you brief recaps, round-ups, and write-ups, highlighting our “Names in the Games” and always offering great and captivating photo galleries.
