Attention High School Football Fans: Time is passing very quickly and here we are now, at the end of the non-conference schedules for most teams in our coverage scheme. Coaches, players, student-bodies, parents, and fans, can feel the anxiousness in the air, as this will be the final opportunity for our teams to iron out any of the “glitches,” “problems,” or other key issues like injuries, before the start of league and conference play. We will keep everyone up to date with the Scoreboard and Round-Up here on East L.A. Sports Scene.Com. Thanks again for your support of our new, and what has quickly become a very popular feature. Your comments and feedback are welcomed, so please Email me at rico.p.cabrera@eastlass.com. Rico Cabrera, Sr/East L.A. Sports Scene.Com

“Featured Game of The Week”
These two schools have not played against each other since 1975. Kick-off is at 7 pm on a neutral site at L.A. Valley College. The Loyola “Cubs” (3-0) have had a longtime powerhouse football program with several CIF/Southern Section Championships to its credit. However, Head Coach, Angelo Jackson and his “Mustangs” (2-1) have arrived at the next level of play and are now ready for combat in tonight’s gigantic non-conference contest. There’s still time to make it out to support the “Mustangs” in this clash of Los Angeles based Catholic College Preparatory High Schools. “Go Mustangs!”
