Note From The Editor: The #7 nationally ranked USC “Women of Troy” travel across town into Westwood and Pauley Pavilion for this second PAC 12 conference match-up with their archrivals, the “Lady Bruins.” This promises to be a hard-fought match for both teams as the Women of Troy seek to build-up their end of regular season momentum for carryover into the upcoming NCAA Division 1 Volleyball Championships (slated to start on December 5th). On the other hand, the Lady Bruins must “win-out” to be even possibly considered for a berth in the post-season national tournament. The USC “Lady Trojans” are again led by their strong cluster of players in Senior, All-American Libero, Natalie Hagglund, the very now veteran Sophomore, Samantha Bricio, the highly talented Freshman, Ebony Nwanebu, as well as Coach Mick Haley’s greatly experienced front-line Seniors, Alexis Olgard and Sarah Shaw. Look to several UCLA players such as Zoe Nightengale, Claire Felix, Megan Moenoa, and Mariana Aquino to lead the “Lady Bruins” into this important PAC-12 Conference match-up.
