The 2022 MLS All-Stars will take on the LIGA MX All-Stars in today’s 
Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game to be played in Minnesota. “Kick-off” for the match has been set for 5:30 PM | PT and will be played inside of the Minnesota United FC’s Allianz Field. Selected to the MLS team from the Western Conference’s top team, the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) were: Carlos Vela, Diego Palacios, and Ilie Sánchez. Selected from the L.A. The Sparks were defeated last night by the Connecticut Sun (97-71) and have two more home games left. The next is set for this Thursday, 8/11 against the same team at Crypto.com Arena. “Tip-off” is set for 7:30 pm. The final home game will be against the Dallas Wings on Sunday, 8/14 at 4:00 pm. The team entered the final week of regular WNBA season play with a (13-20) record and are currently in 11th place in the standings.
The Angel City Football Club (ACFC) and member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), hosts the Tigres representing La Universidad Autónoma de Monterrey, Nuevo León, México (UANL) tonight at Banc of California Stadium in a “friendly” match. “Kick-off” is set for 7:00 pm. Tickets are still available but going fast. Their last match was a 21,000 “sell-out” against the OL Reign.
The Dodgers are on the road for a weekend series starting Friday, 8/12 against the Kansas City Royals for a three-game set, and then immediately followed by a four-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers are proud owners of a (9) game winning streak and remain well ahead of the NL West pack. They are in total command of first place by a (15.5) game lead over the Padres. The team returns home on Friday, 8/19 against the Miami Marlins for a 3-game series.
The Rams are nearing the end of their 2022 Training Camp at their UC Irvine site. LAFC will return to action on Sat. 8/13 at the Banc of California Stadium to take on the Charlotte FC at 7:30 PM. The team has been drawing near to full “sell-out” crowds this season due to their stellar winning ways and being in 1st place for most of the year.
