Horowitz came to the Sparks in 2018 and established himself as the Communications & Public Relations Director who was responsible for the issuance of all “season” and “game-to-game” media credentials to all levels of media outlets whether they were mainstream, weekly, or on-line/digital organizations.
He also implemented a very good “off-season” media effort that focused on rostered players who sponsored, and/or led, outstanding community outreach events in the City and County, or in many other parts of Southern California. This past summer, he kept media outlets aware of Sparks’ players who were participating in overseas leagues in Europe and Puerto Rico.
Taking over for Horowitz will be Corrie Hemry who now assumes the position of Manager, Communications.
