It was a beautiful and most meaningful Summer 2013 day for the youth of El Sereno as they helped to re-open their community’s highly cherished skate park, located in the El Sereno Recreation Center at 4721 Klamath St., L.A. 90032. Join us as we cover the greatly anticipated “Ribbon-Cutting” ceremony, then speak with our City’s 14th District Councilman, Jose Huizar, and several El Sereno “Movers & Shakers” such as, Felix Hernandez and George Pantages. The El Sereno community and the strong Neighborhood Council #32 officers all came out for the “Grand Re-Opening” of this very imortant recreational venue. Enjoy the moment as we tell the story from the perspective of our local elected leader to the community organizers who played such an instrumental role in making this happen. “Year-Round Fun” is now happening at this special Skate Park. Be our Special Guest and check it out!
