(East Los Angeles, CA) August 2, 2021 [From The Editor’s Desk]: The July 31st, 2021 Rams Training Camp theme, Family Day & NFL’s “Back Together Saturday,” couldn’t have been more successful than what was experienced by the nearly 2,000+ Rams fans and family members of all ages who came out in droves on a hot summer day to the campus of UC Irvine to cheer on and support the team in its annual preparation for the brand new season.

“Back Together Saturday” was the entire NFL’s pre-season community outreach and fan friendly invitational event that took the nation by storm. Media covered each camp on a rotating basis and the Rams were well-featured in the program. Thousands upon thousands of all (32) teams’ fans turned out in record-breaking numbers at their particular team’s training camps and first-class facilities to let the feelings and emotions sink in that they, the fans, will once again be active partners in their team’s success. Hope springs eternal for all!!

On this fourth day of the Rams Training Camp, here at UCI, fans were treated to the following activities: a session of interacting with well-accomplished Rams Legends, such as offensive tackle, #78 Jackie Slater, (All-Pro, 7 x Pro-Bowl, 20 seasons with team), and Dennis Harrah, (offensive guard, 6 x Pro-Bowl, and 1st team All-Pro, 1986); a Fan Activation Zone; a Kids Zone; and many other fan attractions made possible by the many corporate sponsors who are a vital and integral part of this total Rams Fan Experience. Kudos to the Rams Front Office for making this one of the most friendly fan interactions with their beloved home team.

New, as well as longtime fans will be allowed into So-Fi Stadium for the season in “full capacity” per the approved L.A. County’s Public Safety & Health regulations. This first Saturday Camp was certainly a great “snapshot” of the highly enthusiastic Ram fans that will be loyal followers of our NFL team for seasons to come.
