(East Los Angeles, CA) December 4, 2021 [From The Editor’s Desk]: The Friday morning press availability at the Rams Media Center, Cal Lutheran University, featured 5th year Head Coach, Sean McVay and NFL All Pro, Defensive Lineman, Aaron Donald. See their remarks on our video about the team’s preparation for Sunday’s opponent, the AFC’s South, Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) at So-Fi Stadium on Sunday. Kick-off has been moved up to 1:05 PM instead of the regular 1:25 PM Kick-off time.
This was our second visit to a Rams practice session and we are now getting more accustomed to the media format that the Rams have successfully adopted for coverage purposes. This time, we were on hand for Coach McVay’s and Aaron Donald’s press availability in the morning session and then Odell Beckham, Jr.’s in the post-practice session. We will also give our viewers a chance to see some footage of the team’s stretching and conditioning drills. The middle part of practice is closed to the media but re-opens after the “on-field” practice officially ends.

(Our Pre-Game Overview): A “sell-out” crowd of highly enthusiastic Rams fans will be expecting a win during this final five game “stretch drive” of the season. Three of those games will be played at So Fi against the Jaguars (Sunday), the Seattle Seahawks (12/19), and the San Francisco 49ers (1/9/22).
A key factor in this game and the remainder of the season will have to show the offense and the defense performing their duties in total synchronization. Media and fans alike are hoping to see the full team mesh into total cohesive and explosive units as the playoffs loom greatly in the not-too-distant future.
Meshing will need to occur solidly under the leadership of Matt Stafford for the Offense and Aaron Donald, for the Defense if the Rams are to separate themselves from the rest of the “playoff-seeking” and competitive NFC pack of teams.
(Keys to Victory): Stafford going long and as often as possible to Beckham, Jr., but yet finding additional time to target Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee. The running game will need to also develop its own positive yardage game with its corps of backs capable of producing critical second and/or third down carries. And lastly, Donald must receive support on his aggressive pass rushing that compliments strong linebacking pressure from Von Miller & Co. and vice versa. Not forgetting to add, cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, who will lead by example as he always does, and that’s by stopping plays from developing while delivering messages with his physicality and expert tackling skills.
(Game-Day Media Coverage): To watch, go to FOX 11 and to listen, go to ESPN LA 710-AM English and ESPN Deportes 1330-AM Spanish). Kick-off is set for 1:05 PM.
