Rams & Nike Host Prep Flag Football Camp For 96 Rising Stars

(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: We bring all of our viewers and followers more football news, this time regarding the Rams inaugural “7-on-7” Flag Football program designed in mind for high school athletes. On this occasion that we now feature, they co-partnered with Nike, to host and conduct an All-Star Experience Flag Football Camp and Tournament on Sunday, 3/5, at their Cal Lutheran University Training Facility.

The Rams organizers created (8) competitive teams with Head Coaches that were divided into the following regional territories: Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Barbara County, San Diego County, Bakersfield, High Desert, Inland Empire, and the Valley. All Team Rosters can be viewed at the end of the posting.

 

The team’s representing Los Angeles and San Diego competed in the highly competitive Championship game, where San Diego was crowned the winner. During the trophy presentation, QB/JULIAN SAYIN (Carlsbad High School/Alabama Commit) was named the team’s offensive MVP and Safety/TRAVIS ANDERSON (Mission Viejo High School) was named the defensive MVP. Rams/San Diego was coached by Evan Yabu (Notre Dame HS) and Rams/Los Angeles was coached by Ashlee Palmer (Salesian HS)

LOS ANGELES RAMS AND NIKE HOST INAUGURAL HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR EXPERIENCE FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

 

 

The Los Angeles Rams Hosted the Inaugural High School All-Star Experience 7-on-7 Flag Football Tournament In Partnership With Nike at Team’s Practice Facility To Highlight 96 of California’s Top-Ranked High School Football Players

 

 

Eight teams, ranging from San Diego to Santa Barbara, played in the flag football tournament. The All-Star Experience kicked off with an opening ceremony, with welcoming remarks from Rams High School Football Coordinator GHALEE WADOOD, and included three pool play games, followed by single elimination games until the overall winner was crowned. During the event, multiple athletes announced their commitment to colleges they will play for at the collegiate level.

Rams defensive line/run game coordinator ERIC HENDERSON and Rams Legends GREG BELL, ROBERT DELPINO, CHRIS DRAFT, IVORY SULLY and ROLAND WILLIAMS made timely appearances. In addition, members of the Rams Coaching Staff were in attendance throughout the event. Also scheduled to appear at the event was Rams Director of Social Justice and Football Development, Johnathan Franklin.

 

 

Rams Cheerleaders and mascot Rampage made appearances from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Carl’s Jr. provided lunch for the participants. The Super Bowl LVI Trophy was onsite and was made available for photo opportunities.

 

 

The High School All-Star Experience gave these top athletes a Pro Bowl experience at the high school level. Each participant received Nike products including a performance top, a Dri-FIT t-shirt, shorts, a duffle bag, gloves and socks. In addition, the Rams provided athletes with cleats, arm sleeves, wristbands and headbands.
