(East Los Angeles, CA) July 12, 2022 [From The Editor’s Desk]: It was a nice bright and sunny day on June 11th, here in East Los Angeles at the Nike Community Store, located on the famous “Whittier Blvd.” strip, for the Rams to make this an official Super Bowl LVI and the accompanying Vince Lombardi Trophy (VLT) to be publicly showcased for all fans who made it down to the facility between the hours of 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm.

We were there for an hour or so and captured a nice variety of fan pictures that ranged from kids, teens, young adults, to young couples, to small and big families who wore some amazing Rams outfits that were hand-made and/or purchased. Imaginations were on fire and the fans streamed in to show-off their gear and their outfits. In addition, several Rams Cheerleaders and their always popular mascot, Rampage were present to be part of hundreds of fan photo opportunities.

It was truly a huge, fun, and family Rams fan affair with everyone coming into the store and then being directed to the rear lot where the Vince Lombardi Trophy was neatly and orderly arranged for the thousand plus fans who came to take a picture with their own cameras or to be professionally photographed by the Rams contracted vendor. That choice was of course optional.

Everyone we observed was excited from their arrival to their departure as a selection of Rams FREE “give-aways”, from souvenir mini-sized footballs, to Rams game-day towels, and other items were handed out per each fan’s choice. Several other “goodie” souvenir items that were given away were also well-appreciated.

The Rams provided FREE snacks of cookies, protein bars, and fresh fruit bowls, water of course, and other “cool” liquid refreshments were also made available to all attendees.
