(East Los Angeles, CA & UC Irvine-Orange County) July 30, 2021 [From The Editor’s Desk]: On a perfectly tailor-made day for Pro football to re-appear on our sports radar screens, Wednesday, July 28th, was “Opening Day” of the 2021 NFL’s Los Angeles Rams Training Camp hosted by the team in conjunction with the University of California, Irvine. It is slated to run at (UCI) through Tuesday, August 10th, except for Saturday, August 7th. During each practice, fans can tune in to Rams Camp Live, sponsored by UNIFY Financial Credit Union, for “Live” looks at select portions of practice at TheRams.com, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the Rams app. The camp is also presented by Unify Financial Credit Union.

{Day 1 Recap} It was an exciting day for the vast and diverse multitudes of fans who turned out to support the team. It certainly looked like the Rams fans who are residents of our City as well as those who are just plain newer and older generations of those who have been Rams fans forever. It was also very apparent that the Camp’s success can be attributed not only to the comprehensive policies of including FREE Admission and Entertainment for all of the pre-registered Fans, but to building a great platform for several of the team’s corporate sponsors to share the experience in tandem with the team’s highly loyal and energetic fan-base.

(Of Significance): In our first-time ever to cover the Rams as a credentialed media outlet, Erik Sarni, our digital photographer-field producer, and I took a bit of time to become acclimated to the spacious acreage of playing fields that the Coaches and Team did their work-outs on while stationed directly in front of their adoring fans. The experience gave fans who were either standing at the restraining fences just 10 yards away or were seated in large covered fan bleachers, the extreme and emotional “close-up” experience of watching in rotation, their favorite players and team groups (O-Line, D-Line, Corners, Linebackers, Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs, Tight Ends, & Special teams, etc.) go through their routines all supervised by their assigned Coaches.

We also bring you a very nice, large, and panoramic Photo Gallery of the day and look forward to providing all of our readers and followers more in-depth coverage at our next date of tomorrow, Saturday, July 31st. East L.A Sports Scene will also be covering the team on Wednesday, August 4th, then Friday, August 6th, and finishing up on Saturday, August 7th, when the team heads to Oxnard to scrimmage the Dallas Cowboys at their training site.

Some of the significant images we observed at the first training session were the following traditional “Blue & Gold” jerseys that the very vocal and boisterous fans wore. Very popular among them was recently acquired quarterback, #9 Matt Stafford; #99 Aaron Donald; #20 Jalen Ramsey; #10 Cooper Kupp, and still that of a very well-liked, Rams Hall of Famer, #29 Eric Dickerson.
At this time, we’d like to ask our followers to please take very good note of a few very important notices for all Fans still interested in attending a Rams Training Camp day.
