Great Playoff News…..To All of our many, many High School football fans, our three East Los Angeles based teams, Garfield, Roosevelt, and Torres have all earned themselves a playoff spot in the L.A. City Section’s 2017 playoffs. Other playoff bound teams that we have seen in the course of our 2017 High School “Game of the Week” productions include: South Gate, Huntington Park, Bell, Crenshaw, Westchester, Santee, Verdugo Hills, and Belmont. Huge Congrats to All Teams and Best of Luck in the Playoffs!!
Glad to inform everyone that we are proudly represented in each Division. Here is the breakdown:
Division I: # 4 Seed, Garfield Bulldogs. They will play #13 seed, Taft HS in their first round home game.
Division II: #7 Seed, Roosevelt Rough Riders. They will play #10 seed, George Washington Prep Academy in their first round home game.
Division III: #4 Seed, Torres Toros. They will play #13 seed L.A. Jordan HS in their first round home game.

Special Note From The Editor: In honor and commemoration of our nation’s annual Veterans Day Observance, we issue a strong reminder that all games are set to be played on this Thursday, 11.9.17.
