Mookie Betts’ 5050 Foundation Inaugural Event

(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: Mookie Betts, the Los Angeles Dodgers most popular player and multi-year All-Star, is breaking new ground for his fans and the City, as he launches his new non-profit 5050 Foundation with a great event, his first annual Mookie + Friends Bowling Tournament. The event will take place at downtown’s L.A. Live “Lucky Strike” on Wednesday, February 8th, beginning at 6:00 pm.

MOOKIE BETTS TO HOST INAUGURAL CHARITY BOWLING EVENT ON FEBRUARY 8th

 

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Dodger All-Star Mookie Betts will host the inaugural Mookie Betts + Friends Bowling Tournament on Wednesday, February 8 at Lucky Strike at LA Live. The fun-filled event will benefit Betts’ new charity, The 5050 Foundation, which empowers the next generation of children to make a positive impact on the world. Tickets are available for purchase at www.the5050foundation.org.

 

“I am very excited to host the inaugural Mookie Betts + Friends Bowling Tournament which will benefit my newly created foundation,” said Mookie Betts. “Brianna and I are committed to helping break barriers that impact the next generation of children, and what better way to raise money than by bowling for a good cause. We’re looking forward to spending time with those who come out for the event.”

The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with a silent auction featuring incredible items signed by sports legends, including Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Barry Bonds, Eddie Murray, Jalen Ramsey, and Torii Hunter as well as a round of golf for two with former Dodger and six-time All-Star Kenny Lofton. Following the auction, the bowling tournament will start at 7 p.m. and the winner will take home a mystery bag filled with top-shelf items from select sponsors worth up to $5,000.
