(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: Saludos Especiales/Special Greetings to All of our Chicano and Latino Familias who have experienced the passing of a beloved member while a member of our Armed Services who fought for our country in times of War.

We solemnly take this day, May 27, 2024, and the distinct opportunity to do as the featured and imposing image of the American Eagle portrays, that we…Remember and Honor…ALL of those who have given the fullest measure of their lives to protect our country from ALL enemies wishing to do us harm.

In keeping with traditions, here at East L.A. Sports Scene Productions, it is with special recognition and a proud hope that our beloved Chicano and Latino deceased veterans are dutifully commemorated by our Familias in private or in public, and by our Citizenry, wherever and whenever it is proclaimed here in our country.

We close with a grateful Thank You and a most respectful Salute to All of our Veteranos for your Maximum Service and publicly assert a hearty Muchas Gracias To All of our Military Familias for the support you unquestionably gave to your loved one!
