(Lincoln Heights/North Los Angeles-North Broadway Corridor)—[Game Preview] The Lincoln Tigers, (3rd place-Northern League), now proud owners of an impressive overall record of (9-2), and fresh from their opening round Division III playoff win over the Contreras Cobras (42-0), in last Friday’s match-up, gets yet another test on their climb to the top of their bracket, when this Friday night, 11/15, on a “Live Stream” over the NFHSNetwork.Com and its local Southern California Affiliate, East L.A. Sports Scene Productions, they take on the revived L.A. Jordan Bulldogs (1st place-Metro League), who come into the game with a (7-4) overall record. The #11 seed Bulldogs defeated the #6 seed Bernstein Dragons in a shoot-out, (46-44) for their right to travel into TigerLand. Kick-off is set for 7 pm.
Lincoln’s Head Coach is Gabriel Cotero, just in his first year at the helm. His team is led by the following student-athletes on offense, #2/WR/JR/Nathaniel Hidalgo, #7/QB/SO/Ivan Plancarte, #22/RB-S/SO/Andre Watkins, and #11/WR-SS/SR/Andrew Perez. On defense, the Tigers will count on #10/MLB/SR/Christopher Martinez, #34/DE/JR/José Manny Vera, #74/DL-OL/SR/Eddie Teran, and #77/DT-T/SR/Horacio Castellanos to provide a solid performance to keep the Bulldogs in check.

The L.A. Jordan Bulldogs are led into the contest also by their first year Head Coach, Derek Benton. Some of his outstanding players are: Willie Dukes, Perrion Pemberton, Joshua Gonzalez, Howard Hyde, and Marvin Chivas. Coach Benton, despite the size of his roster, continues to impress his program watchers with guiding the Bulldogs into their third consecutive year of reaching the L.A. City Section D-III playoffs.
