(North Broadway Corridor, Los Angeles)—High School Game of the Week #7 Preview: This week will mark the first “Live Stream” appearance of the undefeated Lincoln Tigers (5-0) vs. the Torres Toros (4-1) in a Northern League match-up. The game will be available for viewing on the NFHSNetwork.Com or its Affiliate, East L.A. Sports Scene Productions.

In addition, halftime of the game will mark the commemoration of Lincoln High’s ninth consecutive tribute to its highly acclaimed alumnus, former player, and legendary UCLA Bruin and NFL player, Kenny Washington, Jr. His college career highlights and awards include All-American in 1939, his UCLA Bruins No. 13 retired, and his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1956. His Professional career history was highlighted by a contract with the Hollywood Bears, from 1940 to 1945, and a brief stint with the Rams from 1946 to 1948.
The Tigers are led into this game by Head Coach, Gabriel Cotero and he his outstanding corps of upper and lower classmen that are the building blocks of this 2019 team. The Toros are led onto the football field by their Head Coach, Charles Burnley.
The game will be “Live Streamed” beginning at 7 pm and marks East L.A. Sports Scene’s second year as an NFHSNetwork.Com/Affiliate Member.
