LAFC TO CELEBRATE ‘LAFC DAY’ IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES ON APRIL 27
LAFC and the Black & Gold Running Club are teaming up to host a charity 5K run to commemorate “LAFC Day” in the City of Los Angeles on Thursday, April 27 at BMO Stadium at 7:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the $25 registration fee will benefit the LAFC Foundation’s refurbishment project of the Nicks Kids Soccer Field in Watts. Fans interested in taking part in the event can register here.
On April 27, 2018 Councilmember Curren Price and the Los Angeles City Council officially honored and recognized April 27 as “LAFC Day” in the City of Los Angeles. Every year, the Black & Gold celebrates the date by participating in an event to support the L.A. community.
Los Angeles’ iconic Union Station is also joining in the celebration, hosting an LAFC pop-up as fans will be able to take their picture with LAFC’s MLS Cup trophy from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. PST.
LAFC kicked off the “LAFC Day” celebration earlier in the week, as goalkeeper Max Crepeau and Club representatives of the 2022 MLS Cup Champions were honored at the State Capitol in Sacramento by Governor Gavin Newson, Assembly member Reggie Jones-Sawyer and State Senator Maria Elena Durazo and recognized on the floor of the Assembly and Senate.
