(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The big day is coming very quickly when the arrival of Soccer’s current and biggest world super star, Lionel Messi, enters our City of the Angels and BMO Stadium this Sunday, for the much-awaited match-up of his new Inter-Miami CF (14th place with (6-14-4 = 22 points) in the MLS’ Eastern Conference and our very own Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), currently in 2nd place (11-7-7 = 40 points) in the Western Conference.

BMO STADIUM TO OPEN EARLY FOR FANS AHEAD OF THE LAFC vs. INTER MIAMI CF MATCH SUNDAY, SEPT 3rd
On Sunday, Sept. 3, BMO Stadium will host a capacity crowd as the reigning MLS Cup Champions LAFC host Inter Miami CF with Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Lionel Messi expected make their Los Angeles MLS debuts in one of the most anticipated games of the season.
The match, presented by Toyota So Cal, is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m PT. Fans are encouraged to use Metro and rideshare transportation options and arrive early to the stadium to avoid delays. LAFC Fan Fest, The Fields LA food hall and stadium gates will open early to provide fans with food, drink and entertainment options before the match.
PARKING ADVISORY:
PARKING AND TRAFFIC IN AND AROUND BMO STADIUM WILL BE SEVERELY IMPACTED. The best options for fans attending the LAFC vs. Inter Miami CF MLS Regular season match on Sunday, Sept. 3 will be to arrive early via Metro and rideshare. Fans planning to drive should plan ahead and reserve pre-paid parking HERE.
LAFC FAN FEST – 2:30 P.M.
LAFC Fan Fest on Christmas Tree Lane will open at 2:30 p.m. PT. Fans looking to gather for pregame fun and entertainment can come to enjoy interactive games, food and drink specials, giveaways and more.

THE FIELDS LA – 3 P.M.
The Fields LA food hall next to BMO Stadium will open on Sunday at 3 p.m. PT and will remain open 90 minutes after the final whistle for fans to enjoy food and beverages from pop ups from some of LA’s most popular eateries: Amboy Burgers, TacosWay and Triple Beam Pizza.
BMO STADIUM FOOD & DRINK SPECIALS – 4:30 P.M.
BMO Stadium will open its gates early, at 4:30 p.m. PT to allow fans extra time to enjoy one of the nation’s best in-stadium experiences. Gates will open to fans at 4:30 p.m. PT with all concessions stands offering half off food and beverages* for the first hour (until 5:30 p.m.). *Restrictions apply/No additional discounts on beer from the Supporters Bar.
KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER (KCC)
LAFC will recognize Kick Childhood Cancer, a league wide initiative with several activations including-American Cancer Society activation in the pregame Fan Fest and LAFC Foundation’s Silent Auction. Childhood cancer survivors will walk as LAFC Dream Team Members escorting LAFC’s starting XI to the field, Honorary Falconer and Honorary Captain of the match will be children who have battled cancer.

KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER PREMATCH TOPS (KCC)
To bring further support MLS’ league-wide Kick Childhood Caner initiative, LAFC players will warm up in the specially designed Marvel KCC pre-match shirt by Adidas. The unique top features motifs of Marvel superheroes to provide inspiration and motivation to patients, survivors and families battling childhood cancer. KCC CAPTAIN’S ARMBAND
The first 10,000 fans in attendance at Sunday’s match will receive a captain’s armband complements of Toyota. The armband designed by childhood cancer survivor and six-year-old LAFC fan, Jacob Jimenez.
