(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The LAFC MLS “off-season” just became the near “new-season” in the sense that there will be no long stretch of time until the 2024 season training camp will arrive. It will be here in February, causing some notable concerns that the very long MLS 2023 season seemed as though the Black & Gold played two seasons rolled into one.
Coming with this brief MLS pause will be the many numerous questions of not only what the LAFC projected starting line-up for 2024 will look like, but for every other team in the League, as the jockeying for players who are now available for new contracts will have their agents lobbying for the best offers from teams who are interested in acquiring their talents. And all of the tidal wave of possibilities will most likely be discussed, argued about, and/or endorsed by the experts on MLS business, the mainstream media, the local, national, and regional sportswriters, commercial corporations, and other organizations who follow this ever-growing global sport.
As the saying goes, there’s no rest for the weary. and the Black & Gold know that they still have a big target on their backs, due to their consistent winning and successful ways in the MLS.
