(East Los Angeles/Boyle Heights)—We’re happy to announce that our In-Studio programming has made its much-awaited return. Originating from the studio site at the Boyle Heights Technology YouthSource Center, we launched our first show, without a designated guest, and offered a Preview of the New Year, coupled with a brief recap of a most exciting year gone-by, bolstered by the addition of our newest content feature, “Live Streaming” of the 2019 High School football season.
In addition to that, we covered these topics: In Segment 1, you’ll hear us recap our 2019 “Live Streamed” Games of the Week produced as an affiliate of the NFHSNetwork.Com. You’ll also see our website acknowledgements of our CIF/L.A. City Section All-City Teams by Division, Player, and School.

Segment 2 informs you of our inaugural outreach to our local businesses and merchants offering them our Affordable Advertising Plan #1 – (AAP #1). We go on to tell you about the Roosevelt Rough Riders Boys Basketball team as well as giving you a snapshot of the current Eastern League standings (as of 1/15/20). We also talk about the highly followed, and supported Roosevelt vs. Garfield “East L.A. Classic” rivalry in other sports.
Lastly, in Segment 3, and in keeping with our long-standing coverage of the ELAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams we give you their current records. We also add a reminder asking our viewers to Like us Facebook, Follow us on Instagram and Twitter, and Subscribe to us on YouTube.
Before closing, I would like to extend an offer to high school and/or community college students interested in an unpaid student internship to get in touch with us at your earliest convenience. If you are a student in photography or media production classes at your school, then let me know and we’ll set up an appointment to discuss the procedure for joining us here at East L.A. Sports Scene Productions. The phone number to reach me at is: (323) 723-2830, or you can E-mail me at rico.p.cabrera@eastlass.com. As an incentive, we’re offering new advertisers and interns a FREE monogrammed East L.A. Sports Scene baseball hat.
Let’s move forward together and complete as many New Year’s resolutions as possible.
