Note #1 From The Editor: We invite you to spend the next 35 minutes watching our production on Arianna “Ari” Araiza, a freshman, two-sport student-athlete, currently playing on the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary High SchoolJV/Varsity football team, and later on in the school year, she’ll be playing centerfield on the Varsity softball team. We mention these accomplishments to begin our introduction, but in reality, her journey started about seven years ago when she tried out for, and made the Boys’ Pop Warner football team, the Montebello “Sharks.”
This young and talented Montebello native grew up in a sports world that was presented to her by her father, Dan Araiza. And from there, it was just a matter of time before she would take to the football field at the Pop Warner level playing with her home-town team, the Montebello “Indians” first excelling in Flag (Touch), then gradually moving up to all full-tackle football divisions, and ultimately finishing her illustrious career as a player in the San Gabriel Valley Jr. All-American Conference’s, highest division, the Midgets. We now connect you to her as she begins the next phase of her life’s sports journey as a high school student-athlete.
Note #2 From The Editor: In addition to our In-Studio video interview, through the courtesy of Daniel Araiza, Ari’s dad, we’ve compiled an excellent photo gallery that spans her football career from the Montebello “Indians” to her JV experience as a current member of the Cantwell-Sacred Heart “Cardinals.” We ask you to pay close attention to the first picture. It describes a big community event, scheduled for Saturday, October 24th, that will honor Ari as the first girl player to receive the Team’s “Indian For Life” Award. We encourage you and your family to come out and support this outstanding young athlete, exceptional student, and valued community member. Rico Cabrera, Sr./Editor, EastLASportsScene.Com
