East L.A. Sports Scene’s High School Game of the Week-2012, travels for the first time this season onto the campus of the Garfield “Bulldogs.” The “Bulldogs” play host to the Coach Paul Knox-led Dorsey “Dons” in a very important non-conference match-up. The Bulldogs are winless, (0-2), thus far in the season, having already played two of Southern California top-ranked prep powerhouses, the Edison “Chargers” of Huntington Beach and the St. Bonaventure “Seraphs” of Ventura. Head Coach Lorenzo Hernandez once again has committed to a strong and extremely competitive non-conference schedule for his team, and in spite of these early grueling tests, he remains very optimistic about the Bulldogs’ chances of making the City Playoffs and challenging for the Division 1 Championship come December. Stay with us as we proudly present this very competitive non-conference game between these two-storied high school football programs within the jurisdiction of the City/CIF Southern Section and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
