(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The 2022 Holiday Season has begun and today is the day not only for celebrating our National Holiday of Thanksgiving, it is also time to pause and a good “time-out” for finding good reflection, having wonderful family reunions, sharing an attitude of gratitude for our health, the recognizing of our wonderful families, close relatives, great friends, co-workers, and for joining our fellow fans of the sports we love to play, watch, and follow each and every day, or as often as possible.

From the greater Sports perspective itself, we as residents of our City of the Angels, L.A. County, other surrounding county areas, and Southern California itself, must realize that we are truly Blessed and remarkably Thankful to have so many teams to choose from, then decide to like and support them, both in the good and the not so good times.

Sports, as well as Music, have been described by many throughout the course of time, to be “healing forces of the universe.” And with that thought, in these current times we live in, with reverent Thankfulness, not only on this special day, let us all follow that saying and let it begin with each and everyone of us who see those two forces as beacons of brilliant light to guide us down the most righteous path of life.

In closing, let us also be most Thankful and appreciative for our Military Armed Forces, be they veterans, active duty, reservists, retired, or deceased, as well as our courageous Emergency First Responders for their gallant and meritorious Service to all communities that make up our Nation.
