NBA All-Star and growing sport legend, Dwight Howard, lends his unique community outreach efforts to help with a special “Ribbon-Cutting” ceremony exclusively for the youth of Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles at the Hollenbeck Youth Center. Witness some history in the making as Dwight opens a great new opportunity for the youth basketball teams that compete at the nationally acclaimed Youth Center. The fully designed NBA style floor will provide this new generation of local players with much fun and enjoyment as they play and learn about the game even more. Howard, the newest and most welcomed Laker to this season’s roster is very much at home when it comes to assisting and advocating causes for our Inner-City youth and the many programs that serve them on a daily and yearly basis.
