(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The time is gradually moving on for those Dodger fans and all of Dodger Nation who have yet to vote for Mookie Betts to earn a spot in the final balloting count for this year’s coveted and prestigious Roberto Clemente Award. Here is the link to vote. Please also take a moment to view the great, but short highlight video of Roberto in his playing career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Included are some of the previous Award winners.
The voting will end on Sunday, September 29th, so go to the link in this posting and submit your vote for Mookie who has rightly earned the Dodgers’ nomination for his “50-50” Foundation’s work in our City serving so many thousands of our inner-city youth and their families.
Read more of Mookie’s Bio by going to this link. It contains a profile on how he has managed to change the lives of so many of our fellow Los Angelenos with his many good and humanitarian deeds in our communities.
