(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: In light of the tragic wildfires that brought fear, anxiety, and quite a number of other distressing emotions to all impacted families, and in furtherance of the unprecedented accordance with the recent Professional Teams, (as we’ve elected to identify them), the “Alliance of 12,” who call Los Angeles and Southern California their homes, the Big Blue Los Angeles Dodgers organization has committed to host one of the first and simultaneous significant stadium-style relief effort events at Dodger Stadium, today on Friday, 1/17.
It is open only and exclusively for those homeowners and residents who have lost their homes and dwellings in the recent L.A. Wildfires that impacted heavily on our L.A. City and L.A. County communities of the Pacific Palisades (Palisades Fire), Pasadena/Altadena (Eaton Fire), and Sylmar (Hurst Fire). Regardless, boundless and endless Hope still survives here in our great and compassionate City of the Angels and our L.A. County, even as we all continue to take stock of just how powerful, disastrous, and deadly this unforeseen firestorm was and still is.
We will do our best to bring you additional coverage through photo galleries and/or videos of the other two significant relief sites held at SoFi Stadium and BMO Stadium on this same day. Please read the Dodgers press announcement for more specific details on what was scheduled to take place on this most significant day.
