They have not faced each other here since 2014 and both teams are playing excellent baseball.

LOS ANGELES – With their Game #1 win by the score of (5-1) in their 3-game opener with the Detroit Tigers, and following Saturday’s and Sunday’s match-ups, on Monday, the Dodgers will then welcome the San Francisco Giants for a two-game set (May 3-4), coinciding with the second “Taco Tuesday” of the season, presented by Delta Air Lines.
For this homestead, the first of this three-game set celebrated UCLA Night and a Friday Night Fireworks display themed to 60s music after the game, both presented by UCLA Health.
On Saturday, 4/30, the first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance will receive a Kirk Gibson bobblehead, presented by Bank of America, ahead of the 7:10 p.m. start. The figurine is the second installment in the Legends of Dodger Baseballbobblehead series and a special video will play during the pregame ceremonies, honoring the Dodger great.
Clayton Kershaw’s pursuit to become the Dodgers’ all-time strikeout leader is scheduled for Saturday night. If he strikes out four batters, he will pass Hall of Famer Don Sutton on the Dodgers’ all-time strikeout list with 2,697.
Teacher Appreciation Day will bookend the series at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, and fans will receive a “one-of-a-kind” T-shirt highlighting our nation’s educators if they purchased a special ticket pack. After the game, kids 14 and under are welcomed to let loose and participate in the Kids Run the Bases program, presented by Nike.

The homestand wraps up with a pair of games on Tuesday and Wednesday, both at 7:10 p.m., as Los Angeles will face their division rival, the San Francisco Giants, for the first time this year. The two teams last battled one another in the 2021 Divisional Series, where the Dodgers were victorious in its first postseason meeting with San Francisco in franchise history.
Fans will enjoy a slew of pregame and postgame entertainment and activities during the matchup, starting with Taco Tuesday, presented by Delta Air Lines. Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar will play during pregame and during mid-inning breaks all game long as a tequila sampling and photo opportunity, presented by Herradura Tequila, will take place in the Centerfield Plaza prior to the 7:10 p.m. start.
The Dodgers will also welcome Super Bowl LVI Champions, Los Angeles Rams, to the Ravine. Fans can pose with the iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy in the Centerfield Plaza during the first four innings of Tuesday’s game. Fans are encouraged to join their favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars Night returns on Wednesday, May 4th. DJ Jedi will spin tunes in the Centerfield Plaza as special Star Wars characters will roam Blue Heaven on Earth before and during the game.
