(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The month of January usually is earmarked for many of the Dodger players to conduct their fundraising efforts designed for their non-profit organizations. And this year, it was the Dodgers outstanding utility player, Chris Taylor, aka “CT3” to show his way via a very successful charitable event that was recently scheduled at Topgolf in El Segundo, CA on January 12th.

DODGERS’ CHRIS TAYLOR STAGES HIS DRIVING FOR HOPE AT CT3 FOUNDATION CHARITY TOURNAMENT
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Chris Taylor and friends participated in a charity tournament for the CT3 Foundation. The event was hosted by George Lopez and the platinum-charting artist Brett Young performed at the event.
Among the athletes and celebrities who joined in the evening’s festivities were the following array of current and past Dodger players: Chris Taylor, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Gavin Lux, Dodger Tony Gonsolin, Fernando Valenzuela, Dodger legend, Albert Pujols, Future Hall of Famer & former Dodger first baseman, James Loney, former Dodger first baseman, and Jason Heyward, Dodger outfielder.
Local players who contributed and came to the event were: Max Fried, formerly of Harvard-Westlake and All-Star Braves pitcher; Lucas Giolito, White Sox pitcher and also a Harvard-Westlake alumni; and David Wright, former New York Mets third baseman. Popular Actor and renown comedian, George Lopez, was on hand to show his support as well as handle many of the hosting duties at the event.
The purpose and goal of the Chris Taylor Driving for Hope Charity Tournament was to benefit the CT3 Foundation and pediatric cancer. The entire event took place at at the Topgolf site in El Segundo, CA. Playing spots were available for a contribution and fans were invited to attend and not play golf, for a contribution as well.
