(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The Los Angeles Chargers want to inform their fans with some great news with the addition of their new team pup, named “Storm” who will be providing a presence at many team activities inside of So-Fi Stadium and we certainly hope to see her in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County communities when and where her outreach presence may be requested.
Please read more on this event and we encourage you to also take a good look at this short photo gallery of her arrival at the -Bolt- Training Facility in El Segundo this week.

On September 10, 2024, the Los Angeles Chargers welcomed their new Chargers Pup, “Storm,” at The Bolt where they announced her name – voted on by the fans – and hosted a pup conference. While at The Bolt, Storm got to meet Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, General Manager Joe Hortiz, and a couple of her new teammates, Linebacker, Denzel Perryman and Defensive End, Morgan Fox.
Throughout the season, Storm will attend practices, games and Chargers-hosted events as she continues her training toward becoming a service animal for a veteran in need at California Medical Facility, a state prison medical facility located in Vacaville.

Storm is the Chargers fourth pup since the program’s inception in 2020. The Chargers Pup program has followed a service animal in training to highlight the importance of these dogs for people with disabilities. In 2023 the Chargers partnered with Paws for Life K9 Rescue to highlight a Golden Retriever rescue, “River,” on her journey as a Chargers Pup as she was trained to become a service animal for a military Veteran. In addition to “River,” the Chargers partnered with the nonprofit, Canine Companions to sponsor “Brisket” who successfully completed his program and became a full-time facility dog for the Glendale Police Department.
