Note From The Editor: Wishing another great sports day to all of our dedicated viewers and followers. If you are a brand new follower, then welcome aboard! Please check out our newest feature in this posting. In an effort to maintain a flow-based consistency in our reporting of exciting games, events, trends, and competitions that you will be interested in, we debut our“Cavalcade of Sports & Team Round-Ups #1.” It’s been designed similar to a photo gallery, and will provide you with a brief caption, readable at a glance, while you may be at work, at play, or in relaxation mode. We will attempt to cover those competitive team sports events that occur within East L.A. and carry interest and significance beyond our geographical boundary. Our simple idea is to offer brief work-ups on Youth Programs, High School, College, Major League Baseball, NBA, MLS Soccer, NHL, Arena Football League, Semi-Pro Football and other interesting local sporting events that our Latino & Latina athletes are taking part in, and playing major roles, in their team’s success.
We hope you enjoy the concept behind our very first offering and we openly welcome your comments. Final Note From the Editor –— Please take part in our on-going viewer poll regarding the two top trending stories in the sports world: 1) the NFL’s return to L.A. and 2) the winner of the Mayweathervs. Pacquiao fight. Our poll can be found just to the right.
Viewer Alert:Please keep in mind that the Cavalcade’scontent is dated and may not reflect the most current team records. Thanks for your kind understanding and do read on. Rico Cabrera, Sr./Editor, EastLASportsScene.Com
