CA. Quake vs Tucson Monsoon, IWFL

By Rico Cabrera, Sr. May 23, 2014
Screen Shot 2014-05-22 at 12.04.29 AMSpecial Viewer Alert: The 5/31/14 Quake vs PhantomZ game will be played at Rancho Cienega Sports Complex (Jackie Robinson Stadium), 5001 Rodeo Rd., L.A. 90016. Kick-Off: 6 pm. Calling all CA. “Quake” fans to sit down and watch our full length presentation of their second home game of the season, as they take on the Tucson “Monsoon” in this IWFL conference match-up. The game was played once again at Jackie Robinson Memorial Stadium on a beautiful Spring evening, with game-time temperatures staying comfortably in the high 70s. The “Quake” continue to show tremendous improvement from last year’s team, as 1st year Head Coach, Tony Macon, and Team Owner/QB, Catherine B. Vivo, have built a new, and strong foundation to position themselves for a successful regular season. No secret that their sights are set on making the playoffs and eventually winning the IWFL’s Pacific West Conference Championship. We invite you to take a good look at the team and see many new players confidently step into their roles as competitors and winners. The “Quake” entered the game with a 2-1 record, having beaten the Utah “Jynx” and the No. County “Stars.” Their only loss came at the hands of IWFL PacWest powerhouse, the Phoenix “PhantomZ,” in week number three.
