Quake” fans were happy with a come-from-behind final PACWEST Conference game victory over the North County “Stars” (30-14), on June 14th. Nonetheless, these same fans were very disappointed that their team did not receive a much-deserved “play-off” bid. But, on the brighter side of the 2014 post-season, the IWFL All-Star game will feature (6) CA. Quake players suiting up on Saturday, July 26th, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) fans, get ready to enjoy a competitive game between the “Quake,” and their biggest conference rival, the Phoenix “Phantomz.” The game was billed as the “Battle For The Top” in this great match-up between the #1 vs. the #2 teams in the standings. The Quake came into the game with a record of (4-1), while the Phantomz came to town with a (3-1) record. A nice-sized, supportive, and very vocal crowd came out to support the Quake in their final home game of the season, while a “playoff bid” hung in the balance should they defeat their opponents on this beautiful Spring evening in the City of the Angels.
