(East Los Angeles, CA) [From The Editor’s Desk]: The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), Los Angeles franchise, the Angel City Football Club (ACFC), has recently joined several of its L.A. professional sports team counterparts, Rams, Chargers, and LAFC in aiding the tremendous relief effort targeting the thousands of victims impacted by the tragic and multiple firestorms that have ravaged both our City and County areas.
Here is the announcement addressed to the Team’s family as it encourages those interested in making contributions for funding to go to the Support LA Strong initiative that can be found below. Please give it a very good read and do your best to contribute to this rally and call to action by ACFC.

Dear Angel City Family,
We are devastated by the ongoing fires affecting Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. This unprecedented disaster has touched many of us personally—staff, players, and fans—and we extend our deepest sympathy to those who have been displaced, lost their homes, or otherwise been affected.
We are always here to serve our community, and as we face these unprecedented challenges, our resolve to support each other only grows.
In collaboration with Fanatics and the broader L.A. sports community, we are launching the “LA Strong” merchandise collection. ALL proceeds from sales will be donated to LAFD Foundation and American Red Cross.
[SUPPORT LA STRONG]
If you are able and prefer to donate directly, go to:
*LAFD Foundation at supportlafd.org/give OR text “LAFD” to 24365.
*American Red Cross text “CAWILDFIRES” to 90999
Many of us feel a deep need to act; as firefighters continue to battle multiple fires, the overwhelming message we have received from partners and city officials is to follow safety directives and to support neighbors and loved ones.
The work is just beginning, and we will continue to amplify volunteer opportunities and donation drives as they arise.
In the meantime, L.A. Works provides up to date information on how to support.
Our community is our strength and we know that together, we will make it through.
