Batter up! Advance Auto Parts and Los Angeles Dodgers to Offer Fans Private Batting Practice Experience 

Select fans to participate in batting practice at Dodger Stadium through mural activation and social media contest 

RALEIGH, N.C. (August 22, 2022) – Now in the on-deck circle … you! Advance Auto Parts (NYSE: AAP), a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider and official auto parts retailer of the Los Angeles Dodgers is offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Six lucky fans will participate in a private batting practice session at Dodger Stadium, courtesy of Advance and the Dodgers.

The “Advance the Dodgers Sweepstakes” will award grand prize winners and their guests (one for each winner) a spot in the Dodgers lineup for a live, private batting practice at a date to be determined following the 2022 baseball season.

To enter, fans should watch for Advance’s posts on Twitter (@AdvanceAuto) and Instagram (@AdvanceAutoParts) highlighting its new mural and comment on Advance’s posts using #AdvanceTheDodgers and #Sweepstakes.

The mural will be painted on Advance’s retail location in Los Angeles, on the corner of South Hoover Street and West Washington Blvd. (1200 W. Washington Blvd.).

Created by iconic L.A. hybrid artist Mike Duncan (aka TEWSR ONE), the mural will include depictions of Dodgers players, the Los Angeles community and local car culture. Duncan has created more than 200 murals and public artworks around the world, with his art featured across the U.S. and in Paris, Tokyo and the United Kingdom.

Work on the mural is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of August.
